What I am reflecting?
Happy New Year!!
This is my first newsletter of 2026, and honestly, it’s already a celebration that you made it into this new year. Congratulations.
I recently went to Guangzhou for a family vacation. I remember how hard it was when we were deciding where to go last year. Travelling with kids and elderly parents definitely made the decision more challenging.
Still, we told ourselves, let’s go somewhere and create an experience together. I remember one of my mentors sharing something his mentor once said (such a long chain, right?): “Spend on experiences.” That line really stayed with me. So despite the challenges, we decided to make it happen.
After considering a few options, we chose Guangzhou. China is now visa-free, it’s a direct flight, and it’s not as cold as northern cities like Shanghai. And just like that, Guangzhou became our holiday destination.
Let me share one moment that really stood out to me while I was there.
One night, I was standing by the large, clear window of our hotel room on the 31st floor—just two floors below the rooftop. As I looked out into the night, I noticed the outline of a tall tower in the distance. Yes, it was the iconic Canton Tower, flashing with lights and words.

Suddenly, it reminded me of something from my childhood—the rainbow. When I was young, I used to wonder where the end of the rainbow was. What would it look like? Would it be cold? Would it be beautiful? I had so many questions. Back then, I could only imagine.
That’s exactly how I felt about the Canton Tower. From far away, I could see its lights lighting up the night sky, but I had no idea what it was like at the bottom.
After five days in Guangzhou, we took a cab down from Baiyun Mountain, hopped on a tram, and that tram brought us right to the base of the Canton Tower.
And wow—it was huge. People were walking along the river, some selling tickets for night cruises, others offering to take family photos (which I skipped because, well, I can take them myself).
So why am I telling you this story?
Because if you really want answers—if you truly want to experience something—the best way is to “take the tram” and go all the way to the bottom of the tower.
That’s where full immersion happens. That’s where curiosity turns into clarity.
Now, at the beginning of the year, I’m sure you have goals you didn’t quite achieve last year—goals that carried over. So let me ask you: do you want to know what’s at the bottom of your tower?
If the answer is yes, then make up your mind—and your mindset. Decide to take action. Go there. Experience it yourself.
It’s worth it.
So… are you curious about what’s at the end of the rainbow?
You get to choose whether to find out.
Wishing you a strong and meaningful start to 2026.
Happy New Year.
Best book that I’ve read
Check out Richard Bandler’s Guide to Trance-formation: How to Harness the Power of Hypnosis to Ignite Effortless and Lasting Change
This book shares an understanding of the human mind and an easy way to make long-lasting changes to become a better person.
It actually doesn’t matter what happened in the past, or the negative feelings and situations you went through. You should not be bogged down by them.
What matters more is what you can do to overcome them and become better because of the experience.
It’s truly an amazing read. Let me know if this would be useful for you to read.
