What I am reflecting?
What Are You Feeling?
I bring this up because when you want to do anything in your life, obviously you will choose something that brings you pleasure, makes you happy, and makes you feel comfortable. You normally would not do things that hurt you, make you angry, or make you sad.
As humans, we naturally prioritize what feels good, and we work on that. For things that do not feel good, things that bring negative emotions and feelings, we tend to move away from them.
Therefore, it is important to be aware of your feelings and how you feel. Not just that, you will also be able to identify the particular situations, people, or objects that cause the specific feelings you experience.
You would also want to understand that when you are feeling good, you vibrate at a better frequency. You become more open, your entire body feels relaxed, and you are able to spring into action that brings you benefits and opportunities that you desire.
By observing where your frequency resonates, you will want to avoid staying on the lower side of emotions. When you are feeling sad, fearful, or hurt, you may feel trapped and stressed, and that will not bring you anywhere.
Scientifically speaking, when you are stressed, the sympathetic branch of your autonomic nervous system, which activates your fight-or-flight response, is turned on. In ancient times, when you encountered a tiger, you had only two choices: either fight the tiger or run away from it. Both actions require energy, and you are only able to focus on one thing at a time.
This is not a very pleasant state to be in.
When you are calm, relaxed, happy, and pleasant, you attract more good things into your life, and you are more likely to act upon them.
The reason I asked, “What are you feeling right now?” is so that from time to time, in any particular situation, you can simply observe yourself.
Are you feeling happy and pleasant about it?
Or are you feeling stressed, sad, or unhappy about it?
Then you can slowly fine-tune yourself and move yourself away from negative emotions. By moving yourself from a negative emotion to a better emotion, you are going to experience a better state of mind, and the actions you take will feel easier and more effortless.
So, what do you feel right now?
And what are you going to do to make yourself feel better, support your actions, and change your results?
