What I am reflecting?
Looking at the smile of my dad.
My dad walked into my study room. He told me he is getting better and better. His health is improving. I can clearly see his face looks more vibrant. It feels good knowing all is well.
Just a few minutes ago, I wanted to write this newsletter. I was rushing to think of an idea, while my dad was here.
I paused, and a sense of gratitude came to me—he was happily talking to me, and that was a much better moment to spend together than rushing other thing. At that time, I really caught myself having the thought of go to my laptop to write this newsletter 🙂
What came to my mind was, hey, you can spend hours coaching people and helping them build a better life. This is your dad. Wouldn’t it be nice if he could have the same attention you give to others too?
I’m glad I chose to spend the time talking to him for 45 minutes.
He told me about his progress in recovery. Things have been getting better for him, and other aspects of his health are improving too.
I’m grateful that both my parents are healthy and happy.
As you read this, remember to spend quality time with yours too.
Quote I’m pondering
The danger is real but fear is a choice.
